My name is Mrs. Sabatano and I love, love, love teaching 2nd grade! There are many things to look forward to like: Reconciliation and First Holy Communion, learning script, and being a pen pal with a second grader from another Catholic school! Our motto is that we are a classroom family. We take care of each other!
We are in charge of "Parish Pals". We care about the home bound parishioners and want them to know it! We write them letters and draw pictures to cheer them up. They write us back! Our whole school is involved.
2nd Grade Supply List
PLEASE LABEL EVERYTHING
1 ruler (inches and centimeters)
2 – 2 pocket laminated folders (pockets on the bottom not on the sides)
1 box of 24 count crayons
1 child scissor
2 pink erasers
1 box of 8 Ticonderoga pencils (sharpened)
1 pencil grip
1 soft pencil case (that fits everything)
2 highlighters
2 Mead Primary Composition books... K-2 (it has lines and a blue cover and is on Amazon 09902)
100 index cards and a box to hold them (they should all fit)
3 boxes of tissues
2 containers of Clorox wipes
No rolling backpacks please
Supplies for home: pencils, scissor, ruler, glue

HOMEWORK
week of October 21
Monday - Math - p.3,4. Spelling - Put words in ABC order and write them 2X each in the Spelling notebook. Reading - Read, "The Chicken Nugget" to a parent.
Tuesday - Math - p. 7,8. Spelling - Put words 1-5 in sentences in the Spelling notebook.
Wednesday - Math p. 11,12. Spelling - Put words 6-10 in sentences in the Spelling notebook.
Thursday - Math - p. 15,16. Spelling - Study for test tomorrow.
*Read for 15 minutes every night.
